New Delhi. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) registered a thrilling two -run win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at their home ground on Saturday (May 3). In the last over, batsman Ravindra Jadeja and CSK captain MS Dhoni were at the crease. Captain Rajat Patidar entrusted Yash Dayal to save 15 runs. Even after putting a no ball in the over, this bowler won the match for 12 runs.

Yash Dayal, who came to the last over against Chennai, took the wicket of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and snatched the match from his hand. On the third ball of the over, Dhoni achieved great success by dismissing Dhoni on a low full toss. After the match, Dayal revealed that he was not thinking about taking Dhoni’s wicket.

Dayal said in an interview on the Indian Premier League (IPL) website, “At that time my focus was only on throwing the next ball properly. I had done this earlier, so I had confidence in my mind that I could do. There was not much difference between last year’s wicket and this year’s wicket. Last time was out and this time I did not have any intelligence to take Lbw. It was not my wicket on Yorker. Was.”

Tremendous drama in the last over
On the first three balls, Dayal gave two single and took Dhoni’s wicket. Then he threw a no-ball above a waist, which Shivam Dubey hit a six. Dayal did not panic even after this and made a good comeback. On the last three balls, he gave just three runs and put the match in RCB’s bag.

Dayal said, “The celebration was the same because I could not realize myself – I was talking to Jacob Bethel standing at that point. I was telling him, ‘Throw, throw it.’ So my focus was still there. I just wanted everything to end and only then I realized (what happened). “
