ICC WTC Final 2025: The ICC World Test Championship Final has now come close. The WTC final match will be played between South Africa and Australia. WTC Final will be between June 11, 2025 to 15 June 2025. The Indian team was eliminated from the race of this Test championship with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy losing. Jai Shah’s big announcement
Jai Shah, chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), recently revealed the prize money received to the WTC winner and runner-up. Jai Shah said that the WTC25 winning team will get $ 3.6 million i.e. Rs 30.78 crore. At the same time, the final losing team will be given $ 2.1 million i.e. Rs 18.46 crore to the runner-up.
India will get crores of rupees
The Indian team is not part of the WTC final this time, but still India is going to get crores of rupees from the ICC. Not only India, but whatever teams were part of this World Test Championship, all of them will be given a fixed amount from the ICC. The Indian team was at number three in this championship, so India will get Rs 12.31 crore, which is the highest in the amount to all other countries besides the final playing teams.
Pakistan also got lottery
While India stood at number three in the World Test Championship, Pakistan finished last 9th. The ICC will give Rs 10.26 crore to the New Zealand team, which is at number four. England will get Rs 8.2 crore to stay at number 5 and Sri Lanka will get Rs 7.18 crore for number 6. Bangladesh team was at number 7 in this championship, so the team will be given Rs 6.15 crore. At the same time, the West Indies team will get Rs 5.13 crore to stay at number 8.
