On June 3, the final match of the tournament was played between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The final match weekend of the IPL is usually played on Sunday, but this time it was played on Tuesday i.e. Week Day. The reason for this people wanted to know why the BCCI took such a decision.

The final of the 2025 IPL was to be held on 25 May (Sunday) as per the schedule. The league was postponed for a week due to the situation like a war arising between India and Pakistan. The final had to be postponed due to the eight -day suspension. According to the new schedule, not only the final was replaced from Kolkata to Ahmedabad but the final is now being held on June 3 (Tuesday), which was nine days after the final date.
