Speaking during a ceremony in Karachi, Wasim spoke on the recently ended Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10. He gave his opinion on the future coaching setup of Pakistan cricket team. Akram said, “Younis Khan can be a good batting coach for red-ball cricket. The new coach can help in changing the mentality of young players. The new coach will bring a new view in Pakistan team.”
Former left -arm fast bowler also praised many outstanding performances in PSL, highlighting emerging talents. He saw, “Hasan Nawaz impressed in PSL. Salman Mirza and Ali Raza also performed well with the ball,”
Emphasizing the importance of restraint, 58 -year -old Wasim Akram advised the players to give enough time to adapt to the demands of T20 cricket. He said, “Players should be given time to set in T20 cricket.”
