Why big players are retirement through messages instead of ground

New Delhi. There was a time when a cricketer retired, his emotion, fans’ love and his contribution to sports was recognized and farewell to the field with respect. When a player went on the field to play the final match, the opposing team used to make a passage and the player came out of the middle of it which was a symbol of an honor. After the end of the match, fellow players used to pick up the field on the shoulder and then the eyes of the fans present in the stand would get moist. This used to be real retirement.
Today the era has changed, now the desire of the player to take honor has either ended or the institution that has to do it has forgotten the old custom. The increasing money and time in the game has limited the retirement of players to social media. Sharing every special opportunity on social media has become the custom of the cricketers of our country. Even the biggest player likes this easy path. But the question is that why that old practice of retirement is getting extinct and who is responsible for it.
Why not retire like Sachin is not the rest?
Sachin Tendulkar was seen in Indian cricket for the last time while retiring from the field. When Sachin went on to play his last Test on the Wankhede ground, it is difficult to convey the atmosphere that was from the first day of the match to the end of the game. On the last day of the match, the way Sachin was first used by the West Indies players and then after the match was over, the entire team made the master walk on the shoulder and made a round of the ground. Then Sachin gave such a speech on the field, listening to which the audience, fans, fellow players present in the stadium even had tears in the eyes of the umpire. Now the question arises that after Sachin, the biggest player of the country does not disorder because no selectors are able to decide that such a big player should not say goodbye to the game from the field, not through messages.

Like Sachin Tendulkar, former India captains Sourav Ganguly and Anil Kumble also got memorable farewell. When Sourav went out to play his most match against Australia in Nagpur, the Australian players present on the field stood in a line and honored the grandfather and in the end Harbhajan Singh and Sehwag especially raised Sourav on the shoulder and circled the ground. Anil Kumble announced his retirement from the grounds of Kotla in Delhi and even then this champion bowler received great respect for his achievements on the field.

The big name among those who announced his retiring through social media is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who told his talk else through a song that he is going to retire. Along with the fans, cricket experts believe that these three players were entitled to farewell with respect from the field and the board should have planned something which did not happen.
