New Delhi. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the young opener of Rajasthan Royals, set the record for the youngest play in the Indian Premier League. This 14 -year -old Bihar batter made a century on 35 balls in his third match. Vaibhav became the youngest batsman to score a century in T20. There has been a lot of talk about his age. Now former Indian Olympian boxer Vijender Singh has also given air to this controversy.
Vijender Singh has created a stir on the Internet through a post on social media, in which he has raised the question of age fraud in cricket. This post came only a few days after scoring a century in 35 balls against the 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s Gujarat Titans (GT) of Rajasthan Royals (RR), due to which he has become the subject of discussion in the Internet and the country’s press conference.
Age fraud means to present the age of the player incorrectly. Indian Games, especially Junior and Age Category are a significant problem. There is no evidence of breaking the law of Suryavanshi or any other young cricketer. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has strict rules against it and they have taken strict steps on this issue.
