Six franchise teams will bid on the players in the mini auction in Lucknow. According to the information, the Ekana Stadium will be played against the league from August 23 to September 3, while the latter matches and finals will be held at Greenpark Stadium in Kanpur.
The official announcement will be around 4 pm during the auction. In this, the Kashi Rudraj team will purchase most of the players. Along with this, Meerut Maveryx, Gorakhpur Lions, Kanpur Superstar, Noida Kings will also bid the players.
BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla was last involved in the auction.
Ekana Domestic matches will be held in the stadium
The UP Cricket Association official said that the Ekana Stadium will host most of the domestic matches at the national level. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (26 November to 8 December), Veenu Mankad Trophy (9 to 17 October), Under-19 women’s T20 Trophy (26 October to 11 November) and women under-19 ODIs will be held in Lucknow as against the ODI tournament (13 to 21 December). Some of the Ranji Trophy matches can also be played here.
