New Delhi. Australia’s fast bowler Josh Hazlewood joined his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday before the playoff matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL). RCB has to play its last match here on Tuesday in the league phase before the playoffs. With the return of Hazlewood, the bowling attack of the team will be very strong.
Hazlewood returned to Australia after the IPL was suspended for a week due to the military conflict between India and Pakistan. During this time he was also struggling with a minor shoulder injury. Due to which it has now been fully recovered, Hazelwood said in the video released by RCB, “It is definitely fantastic that I have come back. It was good to spend a few weeks at home. I practiced bowling a lot in Brisbane. Everything is good. Hopefully, I will be able to start bowling again. Tomorrow is waiting to land on the field during the practice session. ”
It was practicing at 34 -year -old veteran bowler Brisbane, who is part of Australia’s preparation for the World Test Championship final against South Africa next month. He was kept under supervision by Cricket Australia’s medical team. RCB also monitored Hazlewood’s progress. He has been the best bowler of the team with 18 wickets in 10 matches in this season.
RCB has already confirmed a place in the playoffs. After the defeat of 42 runs in the last match with Sunrisers Hyderabad, the team will have to win against Lucknow Supergiants on Tuesday with the results of other matches to make it to the top two.
