New Delhi. Suryakumar Yadav has retained the magnificent form of IPL in the T20 Mumbai League as well. Surya scored a stormy half -century in the first match. He tied his explosive innings at DY Patil Stadium. Right -handed Suryakumar Yadav scored more than 700 runs in the IPL while playing for Mumbai Indians. Suryakumar was awarded the Most Valuable Award for his brilliant batting. 34 -year -old Suryakumar won this award and entered the special club of veteran Sachin Tendulkar. Overall became the fifth Indian to win this award in the IPL.
Suryakumar Yadav scored 33 runs in the qualifier 2 match against Gujarat Titans. This season was his 15th 25 place score innings, which is the highest in the history of any T20 tournament. Mumbai Indians did not start well in this IPL but after the first five matches they gained momentum and won 8 out of 14 matches and made it to the playoffs.
