New Delhi. Australia has suffered a big shock. Star batsman Steve Smith will not be able to play further in the issued WTC final against South Africa. Smith was ruled out of the World Test Championship final on Friday due to injury to the right small finger.
Smith was hurt in the first slip at an attempt to catch the ball with the edge of the bat of South Africa captain Tamba Bavuma at Lord’s. In this match, the ball was being eaten before reaching the fielder standing in the slip on many occasions. Smith stood just 14 meters by wicket wearing a helmet.
