Former India all-rounder Sanjay Bangar believes that fast bowler Kagiso Rabada can prove to be an ex-factor for South Africa in the WTC final. The final of ICC WTC 2025 will be played between South Africa and Australia from today. The Test match will be played from 11 June to 15 June 2025 at Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London.
Geostar expert Sanjay Bangar spoke to the media on Tuesday before the ICC World Test Championship Final 2025. During this, he said on the question of Dainik Bhaskar, I believe that in the final, Kagiso Rabada can prove to be an ex factor for South Africa. It is cloudy here in the early days of English summer. In such a situation, it will help in swinging Rabada. So if South Africa has to play a great Test match, it should take advantage of Rabada’s experience.
The former batting coach further said, “If he can provide initial successes, only then South Africa can control Australia’s batting innings.” So I think Kagiso Rabada is the best for me.

Australia has entered the final of the second cycle in a row. While South Africa has reached the final of this tournament for the first time.
Australia’s batting strong Bangar believes that in this match, all -rounders such as Vian Mulder and Bew Wavester can create differences. He said, both teams have depth and diversity in bowling, but as far as batting is concerned, Australia’s hand looks a bit heavy there. Australia have batsmen like Usman Khwaja, Marnas Labushen, Steve Smith and Travis Head and I think it would be a little challenging for South Africa to dismiss them.
Australia ahead in head to head A total of 101 matches have been played between the two countries so far. Australia have won 54 matches in this while South Africa has won just 26 matches. 21 Tests are drawing. South Africa has been slightly heavy in the last 10 Tests. Of these, only 1 match has been drawn while South Africa has won 5 times. Australia has won 4 times.
Playing-11 of both teams for WTC final Usman Khwaja, Marnas Labushen, Cameron Green, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Bu Webster, Alex Carrie (wicketkeeper), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lion and Josh Hazlewood.
South Africa: Temba Bavuma (Captain), Ryan Ricelton, Aidon Markram, Vian Mulder, Triston Stabs, David Bedingham, Kyle Werene, Marco Janson, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Angidi.
