New Delhi. On the basis of opener Sai Sudarshan’s century and captain Shubman Gill’s half -century, Gujarat Titans defeated Delhi Capitals and made it to the IPL playoffs. Gujarat defeated Delhi Capitals by 10 wickets in his house. Delhi Capitals opener KL Rahul’s century went in vain, who scored an innings of 112 runs. This is Gujarat’s 9th win in 12 matches. He has 18 points and he finished first by beating RCB in the points table. Gujarat created history in IPL with it. This is the first time in the history of IPL when a team achieved the target of 200 without losing wickets.

The opening pair of Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill, chasing the target of 200 runs kept by Delhi, gave the Gujarat Titans a bang. Both took the news of Delhi bowlers fiercely. Gill and Sudarshan played an excellent innings. Gujarat achieved the target without losing any wickets. Sudarshan scored an unbeaten 108 off 61 balls while Gill scored an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals scored 199 for 3 wickets with opener KL Rahul’s century. Rahul shared an unbeaten 112 run innings with four sixes and 14 fours in 65 balls, besides 90 for the second wicket with Abhishek Porel (30) and 45 runs for the third wicket with captain Akshar Patel (25), he laid Delhi from a slow start and laid the foundation of the team’s strong score. From the Titans, Arshad Khan (one wicket for seven runs), the famous Krishna (one wicket for 40) and Sai Kishore (one wicket for 47) took one wicket each.

Delhi started to bat to bat after losing the toss. Rahul hit two fours in the first over of Mohammad Siraj. But after scoring just five runs in Faf du Pless 10 ball, Arshad Khan’s ball was played in the hands of Siraj at mid on. In four overs, Delhi’s score was 19 runs for one wicket. In the next over, Rahul hit two more fours on Siraj and then welcomed Kagiso Rabada with two sixes and one four to reach 45 runs for one wicket in power play.

Abhishek Porel hit a six on the famous Krishna after a slow start. Rahul completed a half -century in 35 balls with fours on Rashid Khan. Porel and Rahul then hit sixes on Rabada. Rahul completed a century of team runs in the 12th over with a run off Sai Kishore. Porel also hit a straight six in this over but in an attempt to cut the next ball, wicketkeeper Jose Butler was caught. He faced 19 balls and hit three sixes and a four.

Kishore dripped Rahul on his own ball on a score of 71 runs. And the ball went for four runs. Rahul also hit fours on the next two balls. Akshar took the team’s score to 150 runs with fours and sixes on Kishore in the 16th over. However, he played the famous ball in the next over in Kishore’s hands on third man. Rahul completed a century in 60 balls with sixes and fours in the 19th over. Rahul hit Siraj for two consecutive fours in the final over, while Triston Stabs (21 not out) took the team’s score close to 200 runs.
