Rishabh Pant scored the first century of his IPL career on 10 May 2018 for Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils). The Sunrisers Hyderabad team had to face the bat of young Pant. The match was played at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla (now Arun Jaitley Stadium). Pant created a sensation of 128 runs off 63 balls. During this innings, he hit 15 fours and 7 sixes. Rishabh Pant beat Hyderabad bowlers at a strike rate of 203.17.

However, Pant’s century innings went in vain and Hyderabad ended the match in 18.5 overs thanks to Shikhar Dhawan’s 92 and captain Kane Williamson’s unbeaten 83 runs.
