New Delhi: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant has been fined. According to the IPL Media Advisory, Pant’s team was found guilty of slow over rate in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium last night.
This was the third crime of this season of Lucknow under the IPL code of conduct related to minimum over-rate offenses. In such a situation, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant was fined 30 lakhs. The rest of the members of the playing XI, including the impact player, were fined 12 lakhs personally or 50 percent of their respective match fees, whichever is less.
