New Delhi. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s crucial match was played in Lucknow with the Lucknow Super Giants team, which was already out of the Indian Premier League 2025 playoff race. In the match, RCB captained Jitesh Sharma went on to win the toss and decided to bowl first. In this match, both teams changed their playing XI. Rishabh Pant scored an unbeaten 118 -run innings for the team, scoring a stormy century to 227 runs for 3 wickets. Captain Jitesh finished an unbeaten 85 -run innings match in 18.4 overs for RCB chasing the target. After winning the match by 6 wickets, he stepped in the playoffs, making it second in the points table.

After hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes on 37 balls, Mitchell Marsh was out after playing an innings of 67 runs. Veteran Bhuneshwar Kumar got him caught by Jitesh Sharma behind the wicket. Rishabh Pant hit 10 fours and 6 sixes on 54 balls. This is the first century of this stormy batting in the IPL after the year 2018.
