New Delhi. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Victory Parade, which won the Indian Premier League 2025, came to know about many fans. After winning the trophy on June 3, all the players of the team reached Bangalore and the fans were to join the Victory Paraje where 11 people lost their lives due to stampede and 45 people were badly injured.
According to the FIR reported by the ANI news agency, a case of criminal negligence has been registered against the accused, in which 11 people were killed and several others were injured outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday. Sections 105, 125 (1) (2), 132, 121/1, 190 and 3 (5) of the relevant legal provisions in the FIR are mentioned. Taking automatic cognizance of the incident, the Karnataka High Court has directed the state government to submit a situation report to the reasons for stampede and such incidents in future.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had already announced a separate grace of Rs 10 lakh for each condolences. Meanwhile, most of the injured have been discharged from hospitals. At Boring and Lady Curzon Hospital where 18 victims were treated, only two are still in care and according to Medical Superintendent T Kempraju they are out of danger.
