Bengaluru: After winning their first IPL title, when the RCB team reached Bangalore on Wednesday afternoon, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar welcomed the entire team including Virat Kohli, captain Rajat Patidar with warmth.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar handed over the flag of RCB to Virat Kohli along with the state flag. During this time a large number of media persons were also present at the airport. In Vidhan Saudh (Assembly), fans gathered on both sides of the road on the way to the office of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah encouraged the champion team.
