New Delhi: The great batsman Rahul Dravid expressed grief over the death of 11 people in Bangalore in celebration of Royal Challengers Bangalore winning the IPL title, describing the incident as unfortunate and sad.
IPL team Rajasthan Royals coach Dravid said that this incident is even more painful in view of the sports culture of the city.
After the accident, Karnataka State Cricket Association Secretary A Shankar and Treasurer ES Jairam resigned by taking moral responsibility. RCB’s marketing chief Nikhil Sosh was arrested on June 6.
