IPL 2025 new schedule announced: The new schedule of IPL 2025 has been released. 6 grounds have been selected for the remaining matches of the tournament. According to the new schedule, there are 17 matches left and the new date of the final match (IPL 2025 Final Date) has been revealed. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the rest of the matches will start from 17 May, while the final will be played on 3 June.
After consulting the government, security agencies and all the partners, the BCCI has decided to resume the tournament from 17 May. In the new schedule, 2 days two matches will be played, for which Sunday has been selected. The first match will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru when the tournament resumes.
When will the playoff matches start?
According to the original schedule, the playoff stage was scheduled to begin on May 20. Now according to the new schedule, the playoff phase will start from May 29. The first qualifier will be played on 29 May. The eliminator match will be played on 30 May, the second qualifier on 1 June and the final match on 3 June. Venue for playoff matches will be announced later.
