So far, it has happened 23 times when a batter has crossed the 80 -run figure but it has turned into a century only 4 times. The same batter has fallen victim to nervous ninties.
A total of 74 matches are to be played in IPL 2025. Of these, 53 have been held, while one was canceled due to rain. After these matches, the number of batteries scoring centuries in the tournament is only four. In IPL 2025, Ishaan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have been able to score centuries. Apart from these, no batter has touched the 100 figure.

Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer, Quinton Dickock, Joss Butler, Ryan Parag, Ayush Mhatre, KL Rahul, Prabhasimran Singh and Shubman Gill missed out on doing so. Shreyas Iyer, Quinton Dickock, Jose Butler returned to an unbeaten pavilion for 97 runs. KL Rahul remained unbeaten after scoring 93 runs. Ryan Parag lost his wicket for 95 runs, while Ayush Mhatre returned to the pavilion for 94 runs. Prabhasimran Singh 91 and Shubman Gill were dismissed for 90 runs.
