Liam Livingston has scored 1-1 centuries in ODIs and T20s for England.
England announced the ODI and T20 team for the white ball series starting on 29 May against the West Indies. Liam Livingstone did not find a place in the squad. Jose Butler, who is playing IPL from Gujarat Titans, is also part of the squad, so it is difficult to play his playoff match.
This is England’s first series after Harry Brook was made the permanent captain of the white ball team. Phil Soult did not get a chance in the ODI team, they will play the T20 series from 6 June.
Liam Dawson and Will Jacks return
Left arm spinner Lium Dawson got a place in the T20 team for the first time since 2022. Phil Sold also returned to the team of the smallest format. Will Jacks found a place in both the squads. Jofra Archer will play ODI series, but keeping Injari in mind, he was kept out of the T20 series.

Brook got command after Butler
Wicketkeeper Jose Butler left England’s ODI and T20 captaincy after a defeat in the 2025 Champions Trophy. He was then handed over the captaincy to Harry Brook. Under the captaincy of Butler, the English team was ruled out of the group stage in the 2024 T20 World Cup and the Group Stage in the 2023 ODI World Cup. However, the team won the 2022 T20 World Cup in their leadership.
The England team will play the first series under Harry Brook’s permanent captaincy.
West Indies also announced team
The West Indies announced their team on 5 May for the England tour. Aamir Jungu and Jewel Andrew got a place in the squad, while Shimron Hetmyer was excluded. Shai Hope will captain both squads, while Brandon King and Evin Lewis can open the opening in T20. Shamar Joseph, part of Lucknow in IPL, is also part of the squad.
The Caribbean team has to play a 3 ODI series against Ireland in Dublin from May 21 before England. The board announced the same team for the series against both Ireland and England. The board did not announce the T20 squad.
Shai Hope has been named the new T20 captain of the West Indies.

First ODI in Edgbaston
The first ODI between West Indies and England will be played on 29 May. On 1 and 3 June, there will be the remaining 2 ODIs at Cardiff and Censigton Oval. 3 T20s will be played on 6, 8 and 10 June. Compared to Durham, Bristol and Southampton.
