Balonya Football Club created history by winning the Italian Cup for the first time in 51 years. The team defeated 5 -time champion AC Milan in the final played in Rome on Thursday. From Balonya, Dan Andee scored the only goal and gave the team a historic victory.

Third title

Returning from Inzari, Dan Andee scored in the 53rd minute and scored the first major title to Balonya after 1974. Since then, the team also won only 2 titles in the second division. Balonya won the Italian Cup for the third time, the team had won earlier in 1970 and 1974.

When both teams came out at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, both of them were waiting for the title for a long time. Balonya had not won the Italian Cup for 51 and AC Milan for 22 years. With the 1-0 win, Balonya finished his wait, but increased the match.
