New Delhi: Indian Fast Bowler Umran Malik has returned to the Kolkata Knight Riders ,Kkr) Setup for a “Return to cricket” program washtinuing his rehabilitation from an injury that prevested his participation in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
KKR’s Official X Account Clarified that Umran has not joined as an official player, but raather to collaborate with the team and support staff for his recovery.
Kkr stated, “Umran Malik has joined the squad in kolkata to continue his rehab and ‘return to cricket’ program with kkr for the reminder of the season. But will work with the team and support staff to get back to his best!
Kkr Acquired Umran at his base price of Rs 75 lakhs during last year’s ipl mega auction. However, due to injury, the team brieft in chetan sakariya as his replacement in March before the season commented.
