The Bengal Cricket Association has demanded a ban on commentator Harsha Bhogle.

Kolkata. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is not taking the name of stopping the pitch in 2025. From KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane to LSG’s Mentor Zaheer Khan, he has criticized the homeground pitch. Indian cricket giants escaped directly or in gestures. But it has been overshadowed by commentator Harsha Bhogle and Simon Duols. The Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) has demanded the BCCI to stop Harsha Bhogle and Simon Dool from commenting in the match in Kolkata.

Harsha Bhogle and Simon Dool criticized the pitch of Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. The Bengal Cricket Association has now complained to Harsha and Dool to BCCI. He has requested the Indian Board that he should not be entrusted with the responsibility of commentary for the domestic matches of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

New Zealand’s Simon Dool recently said that if curator is not paying attention to the team’s request for the spinners, KKR should transfer his franchise. Harsha Bhogle also said that the team should get domestic benefits. KKR has lost two of their first three domestic matches. Harsha and Dool criticized the curator during a panel discussion on a website on this defeat of KKR.

Angered by his comments, CAB Secretary Naresh Ojha wrote a letter to the BCCI about 10 days ago requesting the removal of Bhogle and Duol from the commentary panel of their domestic matches. Interestingly, neither bhogle nor duol commentary were on commentary during the match played between KKR and Gujarat Titans on Monday.

However, sources close to Bhogle said that the famous commentator was not selected for any KKR match. It could not be confirmed that the commentary program was scheduled before or after the formal complaint of CAB. A CAB official told PTI, ‘Bhogle and Duols are no longer part of the IPL commentary team for KKR’s domestic matches. However, on May 23 and 25, the situation may change if the qualifier in Eden Gardens is two more finals.
