New Delhi. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) may have been out of the playoff race of IPL 2025, but there is still a huge crowd in its matches. There is a similar possibility in Kolkata on Wednesday when CSK and Kolkata Knight Riders will compete. The match is to be held at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. This is considered to be Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s last match in Kolkata. In such a situation, the noise of Dhoni-Dhoni may arise in the stadium. Host KKR Chief Coach Chandrakant Pandit said that the players know how to ignore the noise.
The team of Chennai Super Kings has been eliminated from the playoffs of IPL 2025 after losing 9 out of 11 matches. The path of defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders is also not easy. He has 11 points from 11 matches. To make a place in the playoffs, he will have to win the remaining three matches.
In the KKR-CSK match, Eden Gardens can be seen painted in the color of Dhoni’s jersey i.e. yellow. KKR Chief Coach Chandrakant Pandit is not troubled by this. He said a day before the match, “I think every player and every team always focus on their game during such matches.”
Pandit said, ‘Sometimes it happens that if there is a lot of noise all around and you ask the batter, then perhaps he will say that I did not hear anything about it. The same happened to me when people used to ask me that there is a lot of noise all around and how you focus. Sometimes we ignore that noise automatically. So obviously it does not matter much when you focus on sports.
In the current session, KKR’s batting has been repeatedly staggering. Asked if the team is feeling pressure, Pandit said, ‘It is not so. We always believe that we have the best batting order. It is expected that in the next three matches it will do justice to its talent. We know the capacity of each player. We believe them.
During the victory of a run on Rajasthan Royals, Rinku Singh, who had a brilliant fielding, looked lame and some looked uncomfortable but Pandit said that he had no information about any injury. He said, ‘They are perfectly fine. I do not have this news. It is part of the game.
