New Delhi. Prominent broadcasters Geostar and Sony Pictures Network India announced the cooperation agreement for the Indian cricket team’s tour of England in 2025 and 2026 on Monday. Under this, Geostar will have streaming rights, while Sony Pictures will have television broadcasting rights. Sanjog Gupta, Chief Officer of Giostar, gave this information.
According to this partnership system, Giostar will specially shown all matches (Test, ODI and T20) of India on its OTT stage Geographistar, while they will be broadcast on Sony Sports Network. Sanjog Gupta, Chief Executive Officer (Sports and live experience) of Geostar said that this partnership will be till India’s tour of England.

Gaurav Banerjee, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sony Pictures Network India, described it as ‘the first partnership of its kind’ to redefine cricket coverage. The Indo-England Test series will start with the first Test at Handingley, Leeds on 20 June and end on 31 July at the Oval. The partnership will also include three ODIs and five T20 matches will also be included in the limited overs of 2026.
136 matches have been played between India and England in Test matches. Out of these 136 matches, India has won 35 while the England team won 51 occasions. 50 matches are drawn. India will have to put full force in this series. This time Team India will play Tests without Rohit and Virat.
