Zimbabwe has decided to bowl by winning the toss which seems to be heavy on him. There was a 231 -run partnership between Jack Krali and Ben Docket, who came out for England. Jack was dismissed by scoring 124 runs, while Ben Docket hit 140 runs. Oli Pop, who came at number three, hit 163 runs while facing 154 balls. These three batsmen together hit 427 runs. Root needed 28 runs to complete 13,000 runs in Tests against Zimbabwe and achieved this target by taking a run off the first ball of the 80th over of England’s first innings thrown by Victor Nyuchi. Root has become the first player to score 13,000 runs in Test cricket (according to matches). He is English and the world number five batsman to score 13000 runs.
