New Delhi. Diageo is considering its stake options in the Indian Prof. League (IPL) franchise team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The case is being discussed with British distillers potential advisors. Considering various possibilities including sales of the club or the entire part of the club. DIEGEO is the owner of the team through its Indian Unit, United Spirits Limited. It can cost up to 2 billion dosers.
Who is the owner of RCB?
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s team became the IPL champion for the first time after waiting for 18 years. RCB is currently owned by United Spirits Limited (USL), the country’s largest liquor company.
