
IPL 2025 was canceled for a week in view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan. Now the IPL can start soon after reaching the ceasefire agreement between the two countries. In such a situation, Chennai Super Kings have asked foreign players to return to India within a week.

According to Cricbuzz reports, CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan has said that even though he is out of the playoff race, the team wants the IPL to be completed from 2025,

He said that the franchise intends to help the BCCI in every possible way so that the league can end without any trouble. He further said that the team has advised foreign players to return within a week for the remaining two matches.

Chennai’s performance in IPL 2025 has been very poor. Chennai has played a total of 12 matches. Out of which he has won only three matches. While Chennai lost in 9 matches. Chennai Points ranks last on the table.

Chennai now has to play only two matches this season. One of his matches was to be held against Rajasthan Royals in Chennai. The second match from Gujarat Titans to Ahmedabad. However, now the BCCI will decide what will be the schedule of the match and in which ground the match will be played.

Let us know that in view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, all foreign players left India. However, now the IPL can start soon after the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. Because of which the team has asked them to return.
