Patna. These days, IPL is being seen in the whole country. Everyone is eager to see the red splendor of Bihar, raining the sixes of sixes. Like the IPL, it will have a auction of players associated with Bihar Cricket Association and teams will be ready. At present, interest letters have been sought from BCA from institutions or people willing to become franchise partners.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi can be seen hitting sixes
Like the IPL, in this tournament, there will be an auction of all the players associated with the Bihar Cricket Association and 06 teams will be formed. All the teams will be named after one city in Bihar. BPL’s Governing Council will give final approval to the team’s name. Now the decision of whether Vaibhav will play Suryavanshi in it depends on the availability of splendor and other aspects at that time. However, all the players playing in different formats including Ranji on behalf of BCA can be seen participating in it.
BCL used to happen earlier
Let us tell you that for the first time in 2021, the Bihar Cricket League (BCL) was organized on the lines of the Indian Premier League. It was broadcast live in 29 countries. It was seen by more than 60 lakh spectators. After this it was not organized. Now it is being organized once again. This year, the BCA has prepared to get BPL done. Its live broadcast can be seen on Jio cinema. BPL will be organized between June 1 to June 25, 2025. 6 teams will participate in it. Let us tell you that all matches will be played at the Energy Ground of Patna. Common spectators can also go to the stadium and watch the match.
Who can become a franchise partner?
The franchise partners of the teams can be a group of person or companies. Its turnover should be three times the proposed bid amount. The minimum bidding amount has been fixed at five crore rupees per year. The selected franchise will have to pay 50 percent at the time of contract signature, 25 percent three days before the league and the remaining 25 percent one week before the final. Also, an interest -free security amount of Rs 50 lakh has also been fixed, which will be returned 45 days after the end of the league. The last date for submission of interest letters is fixed till 5 pm on 7 May. Interested applicants can send their application through email to info.bpl@biharcricketassociation.com. The selected applicants will be announced within 7 days.
