IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal has agreed to get the IPL resumed but he has said that we have to take permission from the government first for this.
IPL chairman Arun Dhumal told the Indian Express, “The ceasefire has just been announced. Now we are exploring the possibility of starting and finishing the IPL. If it is possible to organize it immediately… then we have to work on the dates of the venue and everything else and now we will talk to the owners, broadcasters and all the people of the team and we will find a way to move forward.
I wish I wish to stop even ceasefire… 7 RCB players returned to India and returned abroad, Mumbai-KR also flown
The ceasefire said in a report earlier that the IPL could start in May itself. For this, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad have been selected to host the remaining 16 matches of IPL 2025. If the Government of India gets approval to resume the tournament, then these three cities will be selected to get the remaining matches of IPL.
Let us know that 57 matches have been played in IPL so far. The 58th match was being played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala but had to stop in the middle of it. Now there is a challenge to get 17 more matches in IPL. It has to be seen when these matches are started again. According to the report, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire on the boarder.
