New Delhi: Nepal on Monday shocked Scotland by winning a thrilling win by one wicket in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 matches. But even after the victory, the drama did not end, but the excited fans of Nepal, who were present in the stand, ran on the field and started celebrating the most successful ODI run chase of their team so far.
In the match, Nepal won the toss and decided to field first. Scotland scored 296/7 in the prescribed 50 overs thanks to 80 Charlie Tier’s 80 and Finley McRith’s 55 runs. Apart from this, captain Richie Berington (40) and wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Cross (39) added important runs to bring the score to 290 runs.
