Granted important initial success to his team for this special wicket. The moment came in the second over of the match when Salt missed a shot and put a catch in Iyer’s hands on mid-off. The RCB Kaye opener looked dangerous by scoring 16 runs off 9 balls, but the captain raced behind.
The manner in which the PBKS captain celebrated the wicket was amazing. It was an explosion of emotions, which shows the importance of the wicket on this big stage. Salt’s hit even though it was too late in the air but it was not so easy to catch it. Shreyas Iyer ran back and kept the eyes on the ball.
