New Delhi. The Delhi Capitals (DC) team has reached very close to the IPL playoffs by defeating Lucknow Supergiants (LSG). Akshar Patel’s team entered and defeated Lucknow Supergiants in his house. Delhi stopped Lucknow at the first 159 score. After this, he scored 161 runs losing 2 wickets in 17.5 overs. This is the sixth win of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025. On the other hand, this is the fourth defeat of Lucknow Supergiants.
The victory of Delhi Capitals on Lucknow Supergiants has made the IPL playoff race more interesting. After this victory, Delhi Capitals have got 12 points from 6 wins in 8 matches. Now the IPL point table of Delhi and Gujarat Titans has an equal 12-12 points. After these two teams, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Supergiants have 10-10 points.
