IPL 2025: David Warner, who won the title of IPL 2016 to Sunrisers Hyderabad, has said that this year the RCB team will win the trophy and Jose will be the ‘Player of the Match’.

New Delhi. Former Australian opener David Warner defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final played on 29 May 2016 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore and gave Sunrisers Hyderabad the IPL 2016 title. He has described Bengaluru as a strong contender to win the IPL title this year. RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, is in excellent form this year and he will play in the final of IPL 2025 to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (June 3).
A fan asked Warner on X, David, what do you think Tata will be the champion of IPL 2025? And in response he wrote, “I think RCB and Josh Hazlewood will be the man of the matches.” RCB confirmed his place in the title match by defeating Punjab Kings (by 8 wickets) in the first qualifier played at the New PCA Stadium in Mulanpur on Thursday (29 May).

This year, Hazlewood has played a big role in RCB’s brilliant performance in the IPL. Australia’s 34 -year -old fast bowler has taken 21 wickets in the 11 matches played so far. Hazlewood is third in the list of the most wicket -takers and if he succeeds in taking at least five wickets in the final, he will beat GT’s famous Krishna and win the purple cap.
Which second team will reach the final is not yet decided. In the match on June 2, going to play between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians, it will be known which team is reaching the final. Whatever team will win here, it will make it to the finals. It will be interesting to see which team reaches the final and confronts RCB.
