RCB vs Lsg IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has fixed second place in the point table by performing records in IPL. Lucknow Supergiants gave RCB a difficult target of 228 runs. This was the goal that RCB had never achieved before in 18 years. Obviously, victory was achieved only when history was created. Virat Kohli’s RCB did the same and achieved the biggest goal and won the match.
Royal Challengers Bangalore has finished second in the point table of IPL 2025 with this victory. Now the RCB team will now play a qualifier one match against Punjab Kings on 29 May. The qualifier is between the top-2 teams of the One Point Table. Eliminator will be played between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians, which is third and fourth in the point table. The eliminator lose team is out of the tournament. The qualifier forest winning team plays the final while the losing team gets another chance.

In IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bangalore competed with Lucknow Supergiants on Tuesday. RCB captain Jitesh Sharma won the toss and chose the first bowling. His decision came under suspicion when Lucknow Supergiants hit 227 runs for 3 wickets. Captain Rishabh Pant scored a century for Lucknow. Pant scored 118 runs in 61 balls. He hit 11 fours and 8 sixes in his innings. Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh (67) shared a 152 -run partnership for the second wicket.
Kohli-Sult made a great start
RCB had history to win the match. Opener Virat Kohli (54) and Phil Salt (30) laid the foundation of creating history by giving their team a great start. Both of them added 61 runs in 5.4 overs. After this, Virat and Rajat Patidar (14) brought the team to a score of 90. After this, RCB quickly got three shocks. Rajat Patidar and Liam Livingston fell on a score of 90 runs. When the team’s score was 122 runs, Virat Kohli also caught Ayush Badoni off Aayush Khan.

Jitesh Sharma’s captaincy innings
After Virat Kohli was dismissed, RCB needed 106 runs to win. This work was very muktal but captain Jitesh Sharma made it easy. Jeetesh Sharma scored 85 runs in 33 balls and gave his team victory in the 19th over. He hit 6 sixes in his innings. Mayank Agarwal, who came in the team as a replacement of Devdutt Padikkal, gave his captain’s best support by scoring 41 runs in 23 balls. RCB captain Jitesh Sharma was adjudged Player of the Match.
