The BCCI said that when the country is facing an inappropriate attack from across the border with responding to the terrorist attack, the national interest is paramount. After warning of airstrikes in Jammu and Pathankot, there was a cloud of uncertainty on the future of the current IPL since the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala in Dharamshala in the middle. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said, “The BCCI has decided to postpone the rest of the IPL matches for one week with immediate effect.”
