In the IPL, the match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in Dharamshala on May 11 has been shifted to Ahmedabad. The match has been shifted to Ahmedabad for logistic reasons.
Anil Patel, secretary of Gujarat Cricket Association, confirmed this from PTI. Patel said, BCCI requested us and we accepted. Mumbai Indians are arriving today and will later know about the travel plans of Punjab Kings.
Punjab Kings will compete with Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala today. In response to the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, Dharamshala Airport has been closed in view of India’s military attacks on the terrorist structure in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Punjab has a chance to reach number-1 Punjab Kings have 15 points from 7 wins and 1 benatija match in 11 matches. The team is currently at number three. After winning today’s match, Pbks will reach number one and will almost confirm the place in the playoffs. However, the team may need to win 1 out of 2 matches even then to confirm the place. If PBKs lost today, they will have to win both the remaining matches again.
