KKR alive playoff hopes
Kolkata Knight Riders scored 204 runs while batting first. Delhi Capitals did not start well but at one time the team reached close to victory, when Faf duplessis was set. He scored 62 runs in 45 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 7 fours. Akshar Patel also played a brilliant innings of 43 runs in 23 balls. Vipraj Nigam struggled till the end, he scored 38 runs in 19 balls but the team remained 15 runs away from the target.
KKR remains in the playoff race with victory, although there was no change in the position of the teams in the points table after this match. Delhi Capitals is fourth with 12 points and Kolkata is at 7th position with 9 points.
