Indian badminton team lost to Indonesia and out of Sudiraman Cup

New Delhi. The poor form team of Indian star badminton players was heavy. HH Prannoy, who is in poor rhythm and Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, disappointed once again, which led India to fall out of Indonesia 1-3 in Group D match on Tuesday as well as BWF (World Badminton Association) Sudiraman Cup final.
The India team needed to win this match to stay in the knockout phase race after losing 1-4 to Denmark in their opening match on Sunday. This defeat has made India’s last group match insignificant against England. England is also out of the tournament.
Sindhu broke his dream in singles
Sindhu and Pranay, who faced a female and men’s singles match against Denmark, could not overcome the challenge of their rivals from Indonesia respectively. Indonesia and Denmark, who defeated England 5–0 in their initial match, confirmed their place in the knockout phase from Group D. Denmark also defeated England 5–0 on Tuesday. Priya Konzengbam and Shruti Mishra’s Indian pair Lenny Triya Mayasari and Stei Fadia Silva Ramdanti could not make any match in front of the women’s doubles. The Indian pair lost 10-21, 9-21. With this defeat, India got out of the tournament.
