The Indian team will play 5 T20 matches from New Zealand before the T20 World Cup going to be February-March next year. The Apex Council of BCCI released the schedule of tour of New Zealand to India on Saturday.
According to this, the New Zealand team will play 3 ODI series from 11 January to 18 January. There will be a series of 5 T20 matches from 21 January to 31 January. The board has announced 8 venue for these matches. The ODI matches will be held in Baroda, Rajkot and Indore. While Nagpur, Raipur, Guwahati, Wijac, Trivandrum will host T20 matches.
After this series, India and Sri Lanka have to host the T20 World Cup. In such a situation, this tour will be important in terms of preparations for India. In this, India will get down to defend its title. Team India won the T20 World Cup in 2024 defeating South Africa by 7 runs.

3 series included in India’s home calendar India’s home calendar is quite busy this season. The team has to play 2 Tests against West Indies, White Ball Series in Australia and all three formats from South Africa.
Currently, the Indian team is on a tour of England. Where Team India has to play a 5 Test series from June 20. After returning from there, the team has to play series and Asia Cup in Bangladesh. After this, in October, the team will play a 2 Test series against West Indies in Ahmedabad and New Delhi.

Team India will then play 3 ODIs and 5 T20 series in Australia. The matches will be played between October 19 and November 8. The team will then play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 4 T20s against South Africa at home ground.
