New Delhi: In the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2025, everyone was stunned when Ravichandran Ashwin, captain of Dindigul Dragons, lost his temper on a female umpire. He was seen arguing with the female umpire after being dismissed by R Sai Kishore of Idream Tiruppur Tamizons during the fifth match of the tournament played at SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore.
The incident took place in the fifth over of the first innings. Sai Kishore put a loopy ball on the leg-stump, which Ashwin tried to sweep, but he missed the ball due to rapid turn. The bowler appealed and the umpire indicated the out, which disappointed Ashwin.
