What did Keshav Maharaj say before the final.
New DelhiSouth Africa’s left -handed spinner Keshav Maharaj (Keshav Maharaj) has said that the key to success in the ICC World Test Championship final against Australia depends on implementing his plans properly. The match is going to start at Lord’s on 11 June. Whatever team will win here, it will capture the title.
Keshav Maharaj “We know that this is an important Test match. We also know that our country’s record in Lord’s is great and the main thing for us is to implement our plans properly. When I think of this team, we see the mentality that never gives up.
Keshav Maharaj further said, “As long as I can remain in the team, I just want to improve, want to believe in my skills and contribute to the country. It is really special to see this team united and reach here. Maharaj is just two wickets away from becoming the first South African spinner to get 200 Test wickets.”
Maharaj currently has 198 wickets. Which started with his debut against Australia in 2012. He said, “I think I have become a support for those who need it. I like to give advice where possible. I never really thought about it. Hopefully I can add 200 more wickets until I am playing!”
